How the website and email recruitment process handle information, including California privacy rights and children's privacy.

[Terms](https://sopliance.com/terms.html)[Privacy](https://sopliance.com/privacy.html)[Cookies](https://sopliance.com/cookies.html)

## Scope and contact

SOPliance Inc is based in Florida. This notice covers the current website and information you choose to email about services or a specific advertised position, including the California disclosures below. Send privacy questions to [info@sopliance.com](mailto:info@sopliance.com?subject=Privacy%20question).

## What this notice covers

Company, we, us, and our refer to SOPliance Inc, based in Florida. Website means our public website at [sopliance.com](https://sopliance.com/), including downloadable position descriptions and the initial application process described here. Personal information means information that identifies, relates to, or can reasonably be linked to a person or household; a specific statutory definition applies when the relevant law requires it.

This notice covers website browsing, information you choose to email, and role-specific recruitment described here. The website does not provide user accounts, a mobile application, chat, public discussion areas, an online checkout, or a self-service profile portal. Any different employee-onboarding, payroll, or contracted client-data processing must be assessed and appropriately disclosed before it is introduced. This scope does not limit applicable privacy rights.

## Information you provide

An inquiry may include your name, email address, phone number, organization, service needs, and correspondence. A role-specific application may also include your résumé, work history, education, qualifications, and attachments. The website has no application upload form or user accounts. Clicking an email link does not automatically send a message.

## How information is used

Service inquiries are used to respond to your request and discuss your needs. Application information is used to review suitability for the specific role, communicate with you, and support recruitment or placement with client organizations. Identify the position in your application. SOPliance does not request or intentionally collect sensitive personal information in its hiring process, such as Social Security or government identification numbers, financial account details, health information, biometric identifiers, or precise geolocation. Do not include these in an application or inquiry. If you send such information inadvertently, contact us so we can address it appropriately. This statement concerns SOPliance's hiring process; any different future onboarding or payroll process must have its own appropriate disclosures before collection.

## Position related correspondence and no marketing

SOPliance does not send marketing emails or operate an SMS messaging program. Applying for a position or browsing this website does not sign you up for a newsletter, promotional messages, or text alerts. Recruitment correspondence relates to a specific position you have applied for; your application is not permission to send general marketing or unrelated job promotions.

Information submitted in a business inquiry is used to handle that inquiry, rather than enroll the sender in marketing. The website has no marketing subscription, SMS consent form, push notifications, or automated account messages. If these practices change, the appropriate notices and any legally required consent must be established before the new communications begin.

## Sharing with client organizations

SOPliance shares applicants' résumés with client organizations for recruitment and placement. A client may handle the information under its own recruitment processes and privacy notice. Contact SOPliance with questions about which client will receive your application, or before applying if you need to discuss a restriction on sharing.

## Hosting and external providers

GitHub Pages hosts this website. GitHub states that visitor IP addresses are logged for security purposes, including for visitors who are not signed in. See [GitHub Pages information](https://docs.github.com/en/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/what-is-github-pages) and the [GitHub Privacy Statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement). Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which requires browser connections to Google servers and transmits network information such as an IP address. See [Google Fonts privacy information](https://fonts.googleblog.com/2022/11/your-privacy-and-google-fonts.html). Email correspondence passes through the email providers used by you and SOPliance. Providers may process information outside your country.

## Corporate client data agreements

As between SOPliance Inc and a corporate client, contractual responsibilities and allocation of liability for personal-data processing performed under their engagement are governed by their separately executed Data Processing Agreement (DPA), where applicable, together with their signed Terms of Business and other engagement agreements, in accordance with those agreements' order-of-precedence provisions and applicable law. This website Privacy Policy is a transparency notice; it does not replace, amend, or expand the contractual allocation of liability in those signed agreements or create a DPA where none has been executed.

This distinction does not limit individuals' statutory privacy rights, SOPliance's obligations under applicable law, or responsibility for the accuracy of this notice. A DPA applies only to processing within its agreed scope; it does not automatically cover every recruitment disclosure or make either party a processor or service provider for all purposes.

## Legal requirements and protection of rights

Personal information may need to be disclosed to comply with a legal obligation, valid court order, or lawful public-authority request, or where permitted by law to investigate fraud, protect safety, establish or defend legal claims, or protect rights and property. Any such disclosure must be limited to what is reasonably needed and legally permitted. This is not permission to sell applicant information or use it for advertising.

Professional advisers or service providers assisting with a lawful request or dispute may receive relevant information where necessary and permitted. The ordinary recruitment and technical-service recipients are described elsewhere in this notice; no routine disclosure to unspecified affiliates or public website users is authorized by this paragraph.

## Changes in ownership of the business

If SOPliance becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or transfer of its business, relevant records could be part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and the restrictions and purposes under which the information was collected. This describes a possible exceptional business event, not routine sale or licensing of applicant data. Any required notice, safeguards, or consent must be addressed before a transfer or materially different use takes place.

## Processing locations and international transfers

Email and website providers may process information at SOPliance's operating locations and at provider locations outside your state or country. Privacy protections and government-access rules can differ between jurisdictions. The hosting and font providers used for this website are identified above.

Where applicable law requires a legal transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, those requirements must be satisfied before the transfer takes place. Browsing the website or sending an application is not treated as blanket consent to waive legal protections for an international transfer.

## Cookies and tracking

The current website code does not set cookies, use local or session storage, or include analytics scripts or advertising pixels. See the [Cookie Policy](https://sopliance.com/cookies.html) for details about browser storage and network requests.

## Categories, sources, purposes, and recipients

The current website and email process involve the following categories when you provide them or a service provider receives them:

- Identifiers and contact information: name, email address, phone number, and any mailing address you choose to provide. The source is your inquiry or application. These are used to respond to you, handle requests, and coordinate recruitment or services. Relevant information may be disclosed to client organizations for recruitment and to email or communications providers.
- Professional and education information: résumé, employment history, qualifications, education, and skills that you choose to submit. The source is your role-specific application and correspondence. These are used to assess suitability and support recruitment or placement, including résumé disclosures to client organizations.
- Inquiry and correspondence information: organization name, requested services, position reference, and message contents. The source is your communication. These are used to respond to the inquiry and discuss the relevant role or service, using our email or communications providers.
- Internet and network activity information: technical request information such as an IP address and browser information received by hosting or font providers when pages and resources load. These providers receive it from your device for their service delivery or security purposes as described above. This site does not use analytics, advertising pixels, or behavioral profiles.

These categories describe the current workflow. Applications, recruitment records, and inquiry correspondence are ordinarily retained for two years from the last relevant interaction, subject to the legal exceptions described below.

## California rights under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), provides rights to California residents, including job applicants, where the law applies. CPRA amended the CCPA rather than creating a separate privacy law. The California rights described below apply where SOPliance and the relevant processing are subject to that law.

Subject to applicable law, verification where required, and legal exceptions, California residents may have the following rights:

- Know and access: request the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, the categories of sources and recipients, the purposes of collection or disclosure, and information about sale or advertising-related sharing.
- Delete: request deletion of personal information, subject to exceptions such as legal recordkeeping obligations.
- Correct: request correction of inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of sale or sharing: direct a covered business not to sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, including through a recognized opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control.
- Limit sensitive information use: limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information where the statutory right applies. SOPliance does not request or intentionally collect this information in its hiring process.
- Equal treatment: exercise applicable privacy rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.

Where applicable, access includes receiving information in a portable and usable format. Statutory exceptions and limitations may affect a particular request. Nothing in these website policies requires you to waive rights that cannot lawfully be waived. More information is available from the [California Privacy Protection Agency](https://cppa.ca.gov/faq.html).

## Sale, advertising sharing, and sensitive information

SOPliance does not sell or license applicant or contact data and does not use or disclose it for targeted advertising or cross-context behavioral advertising. SOPliance does not collect sensitive personal information in its hiring process. These practices are distinct from the disclosed provision of applicants' résumés to client organizations for recruitment and placement.

The present website has no advertising or analytics scripts, user accounts, application upload form, or saved tracking preferences. It offers no financial incentive program in exchange for website personal information. If a future service changes these practices, the relevant notices and any required privacy-choice mechanisms must be updated before the new processing starts.

## Submitting a California privacy request

Email [info@sopliance.com](mailto:info@sopliance.com?subject=California%20privacy%20request) with the subject California privacy request , or write to SOPliance at 113 South Monroe Street -1St Floor PMB# 6294, Tallahassee, FL 32301, United States. Explain the right you wish to exercise, the email address used for your inquiry or application, and the relevant position reference if applicable. No website account is required.

For requests that require identity verification, we will use information reasonably needed to match the request to our records and protect against unauthorized disclosure. Do not send government identification documents or sensitive information with your initial request. Authorized agents may submit requests on your behalf, with evidence of authorization and any verification permitted by applicable law. Verification requirements for access, correction, or deletion are different from those for sale or sharing opt-out requests.

For requests governed by the CCPA, receipt of a request to know, delete, or correct generally must be confirmed within 10 business days and a substantive response provided within 45 calendar days, with a permitted extension of up to another 45 calendar days if the required notice is given. Applicable opt-out or sensitive-information limitation requests must be processed as soon as feasibly possible and no later than 15 business days. These deadlines are subject to the applicable rules and exceptions. We will explain any lawful basis for declining a request.

## California Online Privacy Protection Act disclosures

This section provides disclosures relevant to the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA). You can browse the website without creating an account or providing your name, although hosting and font requests can still involve technical information. The categories of information, their purposes, and the categories of third-party recipients are described above.

To review or request changes to information you have sent us, contact [info@sopliance.com](mailto:info@sopliance.com?subject=Privacy%20review%20or%20correction) and identify the relevant inquiry or position. Applicable verification and legal limitations are described in the request sections.

Do Not Track: the current website does not change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. It does not use advertising pixels or analytics to follow visitors over time across other websites. DNT does not prevent the ordinary hosting and font requests described in this notice. A DNT signal is different from Global Privacy Control.

Global Privacy Control: the current site has no sale or cross-context behavioral advertising activity to switch off and does not implement a separate signal-triggered behavior. SOPliance does not treat the absence of a signal as consent to sell or share personal information for advertising. If processing subject to a legally required opt-out signal is introduced, compliant signal handling must be implemented before that activity starts.

Other parties: hosting and font providers receive the technical requests needed to supply their services. Their independent processing is described in their own policies, linked above. We do not embed advertising, analytics, or social-media widgets to facilitate third-party cross-site behavioral tracking. Clicking an external link takes you to that provider's website, which may have different practices.

Policy changes: revisions will be posted on this page with an updated date. Material changes to information practices will be identified through a prominent website notice and any additional notice or consent required by applicable law. The website Terms' changes-on-posting provision does not waive privacy notice or consent requirements.

## Children under 16 and applicant age

This is a general-audience business website, not a service directed to children under 16. General browsing is permitted, but SOPliance does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 16 and does not invite them to submit inquiries, résumés, or other personal information. SOPliance does not knowingly sell or share children's personal information for advertising.

Applications for any position are restricted to people who are at least 18 years old, subject to applicable law. This is an application requirement, not a restriction on browsing. Please review each position's other lawful eligibility requirements.

If you believe a child under 16 has provided personal information to SOPliance, contact [info@sopliance.com](mailto:info@sopliance.com?subject=Child%20privacy%20concern). We will review the concern and take appropriate steps to delete information collected contrary to this policy and address any applicable legal obligations. Do not send a child's identity documents in your initial message. Technical requests made when anyone browses the website are addressed in the hosting and font disclosures above.

## Retention, deletion, and privacy requests

Our ordinary retention period for applications, recruitment records, and inquiry correspondence in active systems is two years from our last substantive interaction with you about the relevant application or inquiry, unless a longer period is required for the legal reasons described below. Browsing the website or an update to this policy does not restart that period. After that period, records are scheduled for deletion from active systems through our disposal process, subject to applicable legal holds and recordkeeping obligations. This does not mean every backup copy is erased on the two-year anniversary.

Legal holds, regulatory requirements, and the establishment or defense of legal claims may require particular records to be retained longer than an ordinary schedule. Information should not be kept for unrelated future marketing. SOPliance does not control independent hosting or font providers' retention periods; their notices govern their own processing.

To ask about a submitted application, request access or correction, request deletion, or discuss restrictions on use, email [info@sopliance.com](mailto:info@sopliance.com?subject=Privacy%20request). Identify the position and email address used to apply. No account or login is required, and the website has no self-service deletion feature. Do not attach sensitive identity documents to your initial request. California-specific procedures and deadlines are described above.

Deletion is subject to applicable legal exceptions. A deletion request does not guarantee that legally required records will be erased immediately. Residual copies may remain in disaster-recovery backups until those backups expire or are overwritten under the applicable backup schedule. Backup retention must not be used to continue ordinary recruitment, marketing, or other unrelated use of records due for deletion. If a backup is restored, applicable deletion requirements must be reapplied before the restored records return to ordinary use. Archived email that remains routinely searchable or usable is subject to the active-record retention process; it is not treated as an inaccessible backup merely because it is called an archive. No fixed backup-purge interval is promised. Applicable privacy-request deadlines and legally required recipient notifications still apply.

## Links to other websites

External links, including LinkedIn and provider-policy links, lead to independently operated websites. Those sites may collect information under their own terms and privacy notices. An ordinary link is not a LinkedIn sign-in feature, an embedded social feed, or an application submitted through LinkedIn. Review the external provider's notice before giving it information.

## Security and updates

Email and internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Limit an initial application to information relevant to the position. SOPliance handles privacy requests through the contact methods in this notice. This notice does not promise specific encryption methods or security certifications.

This notice will be reviewed when hosting, recruitment processes, or website features change, and at least annually where the CCPA requires it. Revisions will show an updated date. Material changes to information practices will be identified through a prominent website notice and any additional notice or consent required by law. Posting a revision does not authorize a materially different use of previously collected information where separate consent is required. The privacy-change process remains separate from the Terms and Conditions' changes-on-posting clause.
