What cookies and similar technologies are, what this website currently uses, and how to manage browser storage.

[Terms](https://sopliance.com/terms.html)[Privacy](https://sopliance.com/privacy.html)[Cookies](https://sopliance.com/cookies.html)

## Scope and definitions

This Cookie Policy describes the current public SOPliance website. Company, we, us, and our mean SOPliance Inc, based in Florida. Website means our public pages at [sopliance.com](https://sopliance.com/). You means the person browsing those pages.

This policy should be read with the [Privacy Policy](https://sopliance.com/privacy.html), which describes personal information, recruitment disclosures, California rights, and how to contact us. This cookie notice does not change the separate retention period for applications and correspondence.

## What cookies and similar technologies are

Cookies are small pieces of information a website can ask a browser to save and send with later requests. They may contain identifiers or be linked to information that identifies a person; cookies are not necessarily anonymous.

- Session cookies are intended to last for a browsing session, depending on browser behavior and session-restoration settings.
- Persistent cookies can remain until they expire or are removed through browser controls.
- First-party and third-party cookies distinguish cookies associated with the site you visit from cookies associated with another party's domain.
- Local storage and session storage are other browser storage mechanisms. They are not cookies.
- Web beacons and tracking pixels are resources that can be used to measure activity or transmit tracking information without necessarily relying on cookies.

Ordinary requests needed to load a page, image, or font, and a browser's resource cache, are different from a cookie or a saved tracking preference.

## Cookie inventory for this version

The current SOPliance page code does not set cookies or write to local storage or session storage. It does not include analytics scripts, advertising pixels, web beacons used for tracking, or embedded social-media widgets. The current inventory is:

- Necessary or authentication cookies: none set by the SOPliance page code. This website has no accounts, login, or checkout.
- Functionality or preference cookies: none set by the SOPliance page code. There are no saved login, language, or search preferences.
- Analytics or performance cookies: none set by the SOPliance page code; no analytics service is integrated.
- Advertising or targeting cookies: none set by the SOPliance page code; no advertising tracking service is integrated.
- Cookie-consent records: none set by the SOPliance page code. No consent-preference tool is currently provided.

The careers page reads a public position list and filters titles in the page. It does not store your search as a cookie or saved browser preference. SOPliance does not store application details, passwords, or other personal information in website cookies. This describes our page code, not storage independently managed by an external provider, browser, or extension.

## Hosting, fonts, and network information

GitHub Pages hosts this website. GitHub states that visitor IP addresses are logged for security purposes. Our styles also request typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's font servers and sends technical request information, such as an IP address, needed for that connection. A request can disclose network information even when it does not use a cookie.

These connections are separate from advertising or analytics integrations. See [GitHub Pages information](https://docs.github.com/en/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/what-is-github-pages), the [GitHub Privacy Statement](https://docs.github.com/en/site-policy/privacy-policies/github-general-privacy-statement), and [Google Fonts privacy information](https://fonts.googleblog.com/2022/11/your-privacy-and-google-fonts.html). A browser cookie setting does not, by itself, prevent these requests or erase provider logs.

## External links and email

The LinkedIn link opens LinkedIn; it does not load an embedded feed or LinkedIn sign-in on this website. LinkedIn and other external sites can use their own storage and tracking under their own policies after you visit them. Review their notices separately.

Contact and application links open your email application. A message is sent only when you choose to send it, and its storage is managed by your email application and providers. Email records are not cookies. Sending an application does not enroll you in marketing or an SMS program.

## Your choices and browser controls

You can use your browser settings to inspect or remove cookies and other site data and to restrict cookies where your browser supports that option. You do not need to disable cookies before browsing this site. The current site code has no feature that depends on a SOPliance-set cookie.

Official browser guidance is available here:

- [Google Chrome cookie controls](https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647)
- [Microsoft Edge cookie controls](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/manage-cookies-in-microsoft-edge-view-allow-block-delete-and-use)
- [Mozilla Firefox cookies and site data](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/clear-cookies-and-site-data-firefox)
- [Apple Safari cookies and website data](https://support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-and-website-data-sfri11471/mac)

For another browser or device, use its official help pages. Removing data can affect other websites or shared browser sessions. Blocking external resources may change how fonts or other resources appear. Clearing cookies does not delete an emailed application or exercise a privacy deletion request; use the [Privacy Policy request instructions](https://sopliance.com/privacy.html#california-requests) for personal-information requests.

## Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The current website does not change its behavior in response to a browser Do Not Track (DNT) signal. It does not use advertising or analytics code to track visitors across other websites. DNT is distinct from Global Privacy Control (GPC).

SOPliance does not sell or license applicant or contact data or use or disclose it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. The current site therefore has no such advertising activity to switch off and does not implement a separate signal-triggered behavior. Absence of a signal is not treated as consent to sell or share information for advertising. Any legally required signal handling must be implemented before relevant new processing begins. See the [California disclosures in the Privacy Policy](https://sopliance.com/privacy.html#caloppa) for further detail.

## Future cookies and consent choices

There are currently no optional cookie categories to enable or disable, and this version does not provide a cookie banner or preference panel. This is a description of the current implementation, not a declaration that every future technology or external connection is exempt from notice or consent requirements.

Before adding cookies, analytics, advertising, embedded content, or saved preferences, we must update the inventory and disclosures and implement any controls required by applicable law. Where prior consent is required for optional technologies, they must remain inactive until valid consent is obtained, with a way to refuse or later withdraw it. A future notice must accurately identify the technologies, providers, purposes, and durations. Continued browsing alone must not be treated as a substitute for consent where that consent is legally required.

## Changes to this policy

We may revise this Cookie Policy as the website and its providers change. Revisions will appear on this page with an updated date. Material changes to information practices will be identified through a prominent website notice and any additional notice or consent required by applicable law. The Terms and Conditions' changes-on-posting provision does not waive cookie or privacy consent requirements.
